Let's get started !

1. Open a new file in PSP , sized 650 x 600 pixels. ( we will resize later) . Open mask of choice . Change f/g and b/g to #004000.  Flood fill file ( now known as tag).  Open mask of choice .   Layers> new mask layer> from image.  Copy and paste newly created layer onto tag  " as new layer" > layers> merge visible.  Delete original mask. 

2. Open branch fom kit.  Use eraser brush and remove stem.  Copy and paste onto tag "as new selection" and position as shown in 5th block from top and in 3rd block from right side of tag.  Selections > select none.  ( do not drop shadow) 

3. Open natural bow from kit.  Copy and paste onto left side of tag " as new selection" and position as shown in third block from left side and  in first block of top.  Selections> select none ( do not drop shadow) .

4. Open rope 2 from kit.  Image > resize to 85%. Adjust > sharpen., Copy and paste onto tag " as new selection"  and position as shown, centered and  left side of rope should be 8 blocks from bottom of tag.  Effects>3D effects> drop shadow> selections> select none.

5. Open birch canoe from kit.  Image > resize to 85%.  Adjust > sharpen.  Copy and paste canoe " as new selection" position as shown to  match tip of canoe to tip of leaf from branch leaf  on right side of tag.   Effects>3D effects> drop shadow. Selections> select none.

6. Open frame 7 and paper 5 from kit.   Open new image in psp same size as in step 1.   Using selection tool, pull out a centered section of paper 5 as shown ( capture road)  about 3 inches by 2  inches. .  Copy and paste selection onto new file " as new layer" > layers > merge visible.   Left click on gone camping frame.  Effects>3D effects> drop shadow.   Copy and paste frame over paper selection " as new selection" and position so that no edges of paper are showing.  > selections> select none.   Image> resize to 85%> edit> repeat resize 5 times more. Adjust > sharpen.   Image > free rotate> settings : left /22/free.   Copy and paste frame onto canoe  " as new selection", position as shown, top of frame should cover bottom tip of  acorn. 

7.  Open  Barbara Jensen tube . Select preferred layers. Be sure to highlight bottom layer.  Layers > merge visible. Copy and paste " as new image". Image > resize to 85%. Adjust>sharpen.   Delete original and DO NOT SAVE CHANGES.   Left click on new image and copy and paste onto tag " as new selection" , position as shown.   Effects> 3D effects> drop shadow> selections> none.

8. Open underbrush from kit.  Using pick tool, left click on brush element and push down 1 block from top . Copy and paste at base of canoe  " as new selection" and position as shown taking care to leave a hint of mask showing between canoe and brush  Selections> select none. Left click on under brush element > edit > undo . Move this to the side for later step.

9.  Open rocks from kit. Image > resize to 40%. Adjust > sharpen.  Copy and paste  onto tag " as new selection , position as shown in third block from right side  and in fourth block from bottom.   Effects>3D effects> drop shadow> selections> select none.  Left click on rocks again, copy and paste as new selection adjacent to and forward of first rocks to stagger forward> effects>3D effects> drop shadow> selections> select none.  Get brush set aside in step 8 and copy and paste onto tag " as new selection" to cover previous brush. Selections> select none.

10. Open fishing rod from kit.  Image > mirror.  Copy and paste onto tag " as new selection" and position as shown, base of rod at base of rocks. Do not drop shadow.  Selections>select none.  

11. Open lantern from kit.  Image > resize to 85%> edit > repeat resize five times> adjust> sharpen.  Copy and paste onto tag " as new selection" and position as shown.   Effects>3D effects> drop shadow>

Selections> select none.  Image > resize tag to 85%.   Adjust > sharpen. 

12. Open butterfly from kit, resize to your taste, start with Image > resize to 85%, and place as shown or to your preference. Selections> select none.

13. Effects> Plugins> xero> porcelain.  Settings:  Softness 25, Strength 30. Red  0,  green 25, blue 10.  Click OK.   Add proper credits to tag  and save as PNG file.
