** Hints**.

Materials Palette color  #bd601d  for f/g and b/g

Drop Shadow settings : Vertical 3, Horizontal 2, Blur 4, Opacity 100 , color black

Scrapkit Elements Resizing :

a. jailhouse - to  85% twice

b. sherriff badge- to 15%

c. horseshoe to 30 % - Adjust > sharpen

d. wagon wheel - by 85% five times> Adjust > sharpen more

e. Barrel - resize by 85%  five times > Adjust > sharpen more 

f. bead string - by 40 % > Adjust > sharpen 

Resize wanted poster to  40% > sharpen > resize again by 65%. 

Let's get started .. 

1.  Open a new file in PSP 600 x 600 , tick transparent box .  Flood fill file with color #bd601d

2. Open WSL mask # 277 > Layers > New Mask Layer >from image. Copy and paste the new mask layer onto flood filled image "  as new layer " > right click > Merge visible.

3. Above the mask, just over the upper left corner edge  > Effects > Illumination effects > use these settings :

Color ( make this yellow to beige color ) > Bright 80, Horizontal 9, Vertical 9, Rays 32, Brightness 37, Circle brightness 67. Click OK .

4. Open Cactus from my supplies . Copy and paste on the upper right side of mask as new selection as shown . Effects >3D effects >  drop shadow > Selections > select none. Left click on cactus > Image > mirror image . Copy and paste onto lower left side of mask as new selection as shown >Effects > 3D effects >  drop shadow > selections > select none .

5. Open jail house from scrapkit .Image resize if not already done . Copy and paste onto image as new selection as shown ( leaving a good part of lower left cactus showing )Effects > 3D effects > drop shadow .  Selections > select none.

6. Get magic wand . Holding down the shift key click inside each area between jail window bars > marching ants . Open tube of your choice ,( create headshot by using the selection tool, holding down left clicker and drawing out the area you want to copy and paste into the window , or use crop tool) . Copy and paste the image " into selection "  > selections > select none .

7. Open wagon wheel, resize as directed if not already done . Copy and paste onto left side of jail as new selection , position as shown > Effects >3D effects >  drop shadow > selections > select none.

8.  Effects > illumination > sunburst (use same settings as before ) , click ok.

8. Copy and paste yellow flowered cactus onto right side of jailhouse as new selection , position as shown. > effects > 3D effects > drop shadow > selections > select none .

9. Copy and paste barrel in font of yellow cactus flower as new selection  on right side of jail  as shown > effect s> 3D effects > drop shadow > selections > select none.

10. Copy and paste  red flower cactus from my supplies  as new selection onto left side of image over the wagon wheel as shown > effects > 3D effects > drop shadow > selections > select none. Mirror the cactus > Image > mirror > image > resize by 85%. Repeat copy and paste onto right side of jail on bottom front of barrel as shown. Effects > 3D effects > Drop shadow .

11.  Open Wild West wordart from kit , resize as directed if not already done . Using pick tool, pull image out 1/4 inch on each side . Deselect. Copy and paste as new selection above JAIL on jailhouse . Effects > 3D effects > drop shadow > selections > select none.

12. Open Badge from scrapkit, resize as directed if not already done . Copy and paste onto black star on jailhouse as new selection > effects > 3D effects > drop shadow> selections > select none.

13. Open bead string from scrapkit resize as directed if not already done .Copy and paste as new selection  onto right side of jailhouse as shown > Effects > 3D effects > drop shadow > selections > select none. 

14. Wanted poster ( optional )  Make a bust of one of your artists tubes you are using . Save as png file . Go HERE  to make your wanted poster. Save as PNG file.  Open wanted poster in psp , resize  as directed. Effects > Image effects >page curl , these settings :  color #9c6a14 , radius 43, corner /upper left , width 54, height 22, edge mode transparent . Click ok .  Image > free rotate > left > 5.00 .Copy and paste over door on jailhouse > effects > 3D effects > Drop shadow > selections > select none .

15. Copy and paste resized horseshoe onto top of wanted poster > effects > 3D effects . drop shadow > selects > select none.

16. Copy and paste artist tube of your choice over front porch of jail , > effects > 3D effects > drop shadow > selections > select none,.  

17. Xero Filter Porcelain these settings : Softness 41, strength 44, Red 0 Green 49, Blue 12. Click OK .

18. Resize tag to 90%.  Add copyright information /proper credits

19. Save as PNG file .
